Electrodialysis technology: an efficient choice for amino acid desalination

In the specific desalting process, the electrodialysis equipment is mainly composed of anion exchange membranes, electrodes and compartments. The amino acid solution and the rinsing solution flow in different compartments. Under the action of electric field, the salt ions enter the rinsing solution through the ion exchange membrane, and the amino acids are retained in the original solution, so as to achieve the purpose of desalting. The desalting effect can be optimized and the recovery rate of amino acids can be increased by adjusting the parameters of electric field intensity, solution flow rate and cell structure.
